Canon EOS1Ds Mark III 21 Megapixel

20 August, 2007: Canon’s new flagship digital SLR produces EOS-1Ds MK III, Canon raises the stakes in the professional photography market with the launch of the 21 Megapixel, 5 frame per second continues shooting speed. EOS-1Ds Mark III delivering 14-bit depth resolution from a newly developed 35mm full frame CMOS sensor, EOS 1Ds MK III Canon’s new flagship digital SLR produces files that convert to over 100MB uncompressed 16-bit TIFF, setting a new benchmark in image resolution and sharpness for 35mm-format digital photography.
The Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III is the seventh Canon professional EOS-1D series digital SLR with a full frame sensor with 21 megapixel barrier with specifically twenty-one-point-one million pixels (5616 x 3744) resolution on its 36 x 24 mm (full 35 mm frame) sensor. EOS-1Ds Mark III provides sensitivity up to ISO 3200 (with boost enabled).
The Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III provides continuous shooting up a step with 5 frames per second over the Mark II's 4 frames per second. This means that at full speed the dual DIGIC III image processors are dealing with an impressive 185 MB/sec. Other improvements include the larger screen, Live View, a 14 bit A/D converter and 14 bit RAW files
